Andrew Wolff is Set to Rock Mister World 2012 in England

Andrew Wolff, a Filipino-British model and member of the Philippine Volcanoes, is the Philippine bet to the 2012 Mister World pageant in England.

Cory Quirino is sending yet another strong Philippine representative to an international pageant. After the impressive performance of our Miss World delegates–Gwendolyn Ruais won 1st runner up in 2011 and Queenierich Rehman placed in the semis a couple of months ago–the new franchise holder has recently appointed Andrew Wolff to be the official Philippine delegate to the 2012 Mister World pageant.

And i must say, Wolff is the perfect choice!

Quirino revealed that more than 25 other candidates were considered in a “private judging,” which was held instead of holding a national competition because of time constraint. She said the Miss World organization has granted the pageant license for Mister World to her company Global Quest, Inc., only three weeks ago.

Quirino told the members of the press that their criteria in choosing the country’s representative to Mister World were as follows:

* smart
* strong and competitive
* tech-savvy and into social media
* possesses a winning smile
* able to participate in the “army combat competition”

The 6’2” tall professional athlete and TV personality, who fits all the criteria above, accepted the challenge earlier this week after he arrived from the Philippine Volcanoes’ historical stint in Singapore where the national team finished 3rd in the Asian 7 series and qualified for next year’s Rugby World Cup 7s in Moscow.

Andrew Wolff will compete against 55 other candidates for the Mister World title which is happening at the Kent County Showground, Kent, England this November 24, 2012.
