Last June 23, we reported that Jessica Sanchez will join the hit TV musical "Glee." Now, it's official!

According to a report by the entertainment website TVLine, the Filipino-Mexican Idol has closed a deal to join “Glee” for a multi-episode arc before season 4 ends.

The producers are yet to reveal the role Jessica will supposedly play but there are rumors that her character will be the new love interest for Finn, now Rachel’s ex-boyfriend in the show.

With this feat, Jessica Sanchez becomes the 3rd celebrity with Filipino blood to bag recurring roles in the show. The first was international singing sensation Charice Pempengco who had several appearances in season 2. The second was Filipino-Irish Darren Criss who is now a regular cast-member of “Glee” for the role of Blaine.
