The Star Cinema and Viva Films co-production "This Guy's In Love With U, Mare!" had grossed P100 million on its first 5 days of screening.

According to “The Buzz” on Sunday, October 14, the Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano starrer is a certified box office hit by virtue of its domestic gross of P100 million in just 5 days.

Last Thursday, Star Cinema reported that the said film had an opening gross of P23 million which matched the the record of “The Mistress” for the biggest opening for 2012.

The John Lloyd-Bea movie also holds the record for being the highest-grossing Pinoy movie for 2012 but with the performance of “This Guy’s In Love With U, Mare!” on its first 5 days, it could become the year’s top-grosser. And who knows, the film is still on track to surpass the record of “Praybeyt Benjamin,” the first team-up of Vice Ganda and Wenn Deramas, which is still the highest-grossing Pinoy movie of all time.
