Derek Ramsay and Anne Curtis, stars of last year's blockbuster "No Other Woman" which holds the record for being the highest-grossing Filipino dramatic movie of all time, reunite in "A Secret Affair."

The movie is said to be a follow-up to “No Other Woman” with Andi Eigenmann joining the tandem of Ramsay and Curtis to complete the love triangle.

The three stars, considered today’s hottest and busiest, figure in a sizzling, dramatic tale of love, lust and deceit. Ramsay and Curtis are a couple whose relationship is seriously challenged with the intrusion of a third party, played by Andi.

The movie has all the elements that made “No Other Woman” such a phenomenon—a great-looking cast, an engaging story, memorable dialogue peppered with quotable quotes, beautiful locations, and the
trademark gloss of classic VIVA melodramas. But it’s even sexier and more stylish, with more lavish sets and eye-popping production values. It’s also bigger in scope as it touches on family and friendship. Both Anne and Andi play strong, feisty characters but with different sensibilities molded by their family backgrounds and
situations. The movie is also even more contemporary, as it shows how relationships are shaped by new media these days.

“A Secret Affair” promises to cement Anne’s reputation as one of the very best actresses of the new generation, as well as Derek’s image as today’s top sexy actor. The movie also heralds the arrival of Andi as a new movie drama princess.

Directed by teleserye veteran Nuel Crisostomo Naval from a story and screenplay by award-winning writer Mel Mendoza-del Rosario, “A Secret Affair” boasts a formidable supporting cast led by acclaimed veterans Jaclyn Jose, Joel Torre, and Jackie Lou Blanco. It also features Say Alonzo, IC Mendoza, Shy Carlos, Petra Mahalimuyak, and Gee-Ann Abraham.

“A Secret Affair” is set to open in theaters nationwide on October 24, 2012.
