The Positive: “Taken 2” could have been one of the year’s most heart-pounding action flicks but all of its elements are similar to the original movie so if you haven’t seen “Taken” (2008), you’ll be thrilled with the sense of surprise it has to offer.
Like a roller coaster ride, it’s a little slow in the beginning but once Neeson and his family arrives in Istanbul, you will love the momentum and you’ll notice that time will just fly by.
The Negative: The script puts its attention to the car chases and fight scenes and not to detail. And like what I’ve said, it’s pretty much similar to the original.
Memorable Line: “When a dog has a bone the last thing you want to do is take it from him.”
STARMOMETER SCORE: 6.5/10
