Kuya Kim Embarks on Adventure in ‘Surigao del Sur’

Kuya Kim will tour the province of Surigao del Sur to explore more of the surfing hot spot's water-based wonders and eat a strange delicacy or two in another exciting adventure on “Matanglawin” this Saturday (Sep 30).

Although named after “surgir,” which means “currents,” Surigao del Sur has much more to offer than breathtaking waves in many places like Bislig Bay.

Kuya Kim will tour the International Doll House that houses almost 400 different dolls of all shapes and sizes from in and out of the country. He will also go on a food trip as he tries not just the famous tamilok, but also monkey’s heels.

The country’s Trivia King wouldn’t go on an adventure without challenging himself which is why he will risk exploring the mysterious Delot cave where no tourist has gone before. He will also check out the unknown depths of Enchanted River and visit the Tinuy-an Falls, which is deemed as the Philippine-version of the Niagara Falls.

Recently, “Matanglawin” was awarded with a special citation for Best Children’s Program in the recently concluded 34th Catholic Mass Media Awards.

Keep watching the award-winning educational program, “Matanglawin,” every Sunday, 9:15 AM on ABS-CBN.
