Martin Nievera to Kedebon's detractors: "To all the bashers and haters, shame on you!" The Concert King made a brave decision of sending his mentee home.

Kedebon Colim and Daddy’s Home were the bottom 2 during the Top 6 results night of “The X Factor Philippines.”

Daddy’s Home sang Stevie Wonder‘s “Lately” for their survival song. Kedebon Colim, on the other hand, performed Enrique Iglesias‘ “Hero.”

Pilita Corrales and Gary V voted against Kedebon.

Before Martin Nievera announce his decision, he made a tearjerking speech for his mentee. Read the transcript below…

Martin Nievera: “Before I say anything and make my decision, I want everyone to know in front us right now that people are searching for a dream. How do you weigh a dream?”

“There’s a person smaller in number and in size who has gone to so much hate. I admire you Kedebon, you’re my hero, your fans will be with you ’til the day you die.”

“Don’t ever lose your spirit. If there’s anyone here tonight who’s gonna send you home, I’m gonna bring you home. Kedebon, it’s time to go home boy.”

KC Concepcion: “That was a very brave decision…Judge Martin.”

Then KC asked Kedebon for his last words…

Kedebon: “First of all, I wanna thank my God, Top 6 grabe di ako makapaniwala. Sobrang na-prove ko na nothing is impossible talaga. Tapos, I really thank sa mga sumusuporta sa akin, sa mga bumoboto, di talaga ako makapaniwala sa inyo na binoboto nyo ako, ’til the end of time.”

“Tapos, Daddy (hugs his mentor, Martin Nievera), thank you so much. Maraming salamat sa mga ginagawa mo sa akin, sobrang bless ako na nakilala kita. Noon pinapanood kita sa TV ngayon nandito na ako sa loob ng TV.”

KC Concepcion: “Judge Martin, this has been a long journey for you. Marami kayong pinagdaanan ni Kedebon and as you said, marami na ring napagdaanan sa showbiz itong si Kedebon, di ba nakatikim ka na rin ng konting showbiz life, what do you want to say to Kedebon ngayon na you have sent him home tonight, that was a very brave decision.”

Martin Nievera: “Kedebon, ang dami mong fans dito. Everybody loves you. And to all those who now consider themselves bashers and haters, you survived all of them. And to all of you who did the bashing and hating, shame on you. Here stands a champion, my hero, Kedebon!”
