Mister World 2012, to be Held in England this November

After the controversial 2012 Miss World in China last month, the Miss World Organization (MWO) is staging a Mister World pageant in England later this year.

The last time that the Mister World pageant was held was in year 2010 in Incheon, Korea. Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland won the title.

Last year, the organization decided to cancel the event. But this year, they are bringing the most prestigious male pageant back and it’s happening on November 24 in Kent, England. The pre-final activities, on the other hand, will begin on November 9 in London.

Around 70 nations are expected to compete this year. 19 countries have already confirmed their participation while the rest are still going to elect their candidate.

Miss World Philippines director Cory Quirino is yet to confirm if she will hold a national finals for the Philippine delegate or if she will just elect a representative.
