August 20 and 21 Declared Non-Working Holidays by Malacañang

President Benigno Aquino III, via the Official Gazette, has declared August 20, 2012 a regular non-working holiday.

By virtue of Republic Act No 9177, Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadhan among our Muslim brothers, is a regular holiday throughout the country.

The next day, Tuesday (August 21), is Ninoy Aquino day. It was earlier declared that this day is also a non-working holiday so it’s gonna be a very long weekend ahead (from August 18 to 21) so to speak.
