Starmometer is now opening the nominations for the 7th annual "100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines" poll.

Now on its 7th year, Starmometer’s “100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines” poll kicks off by opening the nomination process on the micro-blogging site – Twitter!

Here are the mechanics:

1. Criteria for nomination –

a.) Must be a Pinay Celebrity from any field like news, sports, TV drama/comedy and other programs, movies, music, politics, pageants, radio, business, etc.
b.) Must be 18 to 50 years of age.
c) Must have at least 1/4 Filipino blood.
d) Must be deemed by the public as “beautiful.”

3. Tweet your nomination by using the hash tag #100MostBeautifulPinays and the following format:

I nominate (name of female celebrity) for Starmometer’s 100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines for 2012 #100MostBeautifulPinays

4. Nominations will begin today, August 4. Deadline will be at 11:59 p.m. of August 8, 2012.

5. Starmometer reserves the right to disapprove any nomination that does not fit the criteria stated on no. 1. Starmometer will also trim down the nominations to 100 based on a) number of nominations received by the celebrity b) our own discretion.

6. The short list will be revealed on August 9, 2012 as the 100 nominees will start contending for netizens/fans’ votes via a free and transparent polling process with real-time results!
