Daniel Dae Kim Takes the Spotlight in a Special Hawaii Five-0 Stunt
Through the diversity of his roles on stage and screen, Daniel Dae Kim continues to expand the public’s perception of the Asian-American man. In characters ranging from the King of Siam, a Shakespearean hero and a social worker for the Chicago needy, to a counter-terrorist agent, his work has consistently transcended the historical barriers of race and stereotype.
Kim is now busy playing the role of Chin Ho Kelly, a member of an elite group of crime-fighters tasked to handle the investigation of serious crimes in the islands of Hawaii in the hit television series Hawaii Five-0. As a special tribute, AXN’s special marathon will feature such episodes where Kim gets strapped on to hi-tech bombs, drives a van of hazardous chemicals, goes head-to-head with the Yakuza, and putting people to prison – where they really belong.
This never-ending thrill ride will air on July 14 and 15 at 3:30pm with five episodes each from Hawaii Five-0 Seasons 1 and 2, first and exclusively on AXN.
