‘Dahil sa Pag-ibig’ Airs Explosive Finale this Friday
Based on the latest data of Kantar Media last Monday (June 25), “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” remained to be the viewers ‘real love’ with its national TV rating of 28.9% compared to its rival program in GMA, “One True Love” which only got 10.4%, registering an 18.5 point difference in favor of the Kapamilya series.
Aside from the avid viewers of “Dahil sa Pag-ibig,” its four lead stars admittedly fell in love with the show’s very intriguing and unique plot. Its leading men Piolo and Jericho even admitted that they, too, have become attached with their own characters, Fr. Alfred Valderama and Oliver Falcon, respectively.
“I feel honored that I was given the chance to play this very challenging role. I hope that I’ve given justice to the character of Fr. Alfred,” Piolo said.
According to Echo, “I really loved working on my character Oliver and I’m very thankful to everyone who followed his story.”
Meanwhile, “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” leading ladies Cristine and Maricar revealed that their respective characters, Jasmin and Agnes, have really grown close to their hearts.
“I really love my character Agnes,” Maricar said. “I really admire the fact that even though she’s strong and independent, she’s ready to give her all when it comes to love.”
For Cristine, her role as Jasmin gave her the chance to push her acting skills to its limits. “I find her character exciting because she’s not the usual girl who is in love. In the beginning, she fell for his stepbrother who is a priest, and then she eventually got engaged with a guy who just used her to get even with his mortal enemey,” she shared.
As “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” goes down to its last face-off, watch out for the heart pounding revelations that will shock Fr. Alfred, Jasmin, Oliver, Agnes, and Leo Valderama (Christopher) as the secrets of the past come back to haunt them. After all of the adversities that transpired because of one mistake, will they finally sacrifice their own desires for the sake of love?
Don’t miss the last face-off of “Dahil sa Pag-ibig,” after “Walang Hanggan” in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
