‘Draw Something’ Show: CBS Develops Game Show Based on Popular App

"Draw Something" show is being developed into a game show by Ryan Seacrest's production company, MTV reported.

“Draw Something,” Zynga’s popular ‘Pictionary’-style mobile app, is going to be adapted on the small screen.

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has reportedly signed on to help produce the “Draw Something” show where gamers compete against one another to earn points

Seacrest confirmed this on Twitter:

“Yes working w/ my pals at @zynga to bring Draw Something to TV on @CBS! Any pinky picassos want in?”

The pilot will be co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Embassy Row.

“Each week, teams of celebrities and everyday users will test their skills in front of a studio audience to earn money and big laughs. Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities,” CBS said in a press release.

It’s not yet confirmed, however, if Ryan Seacrest himself will host the game show which is expected to premiere later this year.
