‘Artista Academy’ – The Early Favorites
Thousands of showbiz aspirants aged 16-22 flocked the SMART Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, June 19, to take their shot at the reality-based talent search program of TV5, “Artista Academy” and its grand prize of P20 million.
It’s safe to assume that the early favorites yesterday were those who have a famous relative. They are:
Angelo Patrimonio, the 22-year-old son of basketball superstar Alvin Patrimonio.
Alvin Abrenica, the brother of Kapuso hunk Aljur Abrenica:
Kenneth Anderson, the brother of Kapamilya Golden Boy Gerald Anderson:
But of course, it’s all up to the judges–led by Ms. Wilma Galvante–who will screen these artista wannabes not only basing on their looks, their popular relative(s), their impact to the audience, but also with their talent.

im one of the critic of this show, i was also in araneta by the time of audition.. kea pla lhat cla nka pasok. HAHAHA. pero andaming mas deserving. umpisa plang flop na kyo. HAHAHA. maraming nag audition eventually napagod kyo mag judge inantok na kyo at binilisan ang pag judge ninyo? very funny. sna kumuha nlng kyo n ibang mag judge dbaa? BOBO!
