Corona Impeachment Trial Update: Chief Justice Renato Corona, Guilty or Not Guilty?

The Senators have released their verdict on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, after 5 months of historic trial over alleged corruption of Chief Justice Renato Corona which saw him accused of hiding millions of dollars in assets.

Is he guilty or not guilty? Will he be convicted or acquitted?

To convict Corona, two-thirds of the entire senate or sixteen votes are needed. If eight senators would say otherwise, the Chief Justice will be automatically acquitted.

Not Guilty: 3
Abstain: 0

  1. the 3 judges who voted not guilty are…let’s see….1-Santiago-she must be pissed off by the prosecutor panel…espcially the guy who covered his ears during the hearing…2-Marcos-came from a corrupt family….3-Joker-Arroyo-pangalan pa lang, alam mo na kasabwat ni corona and he’s only joking…
