Rhian Ramos Supports ‘Soles of Hope’
Sueño de Espadrilles, the company that introduced the country to authentic, handmade espadrilles from Spain, brings hope to underprivileged youths through the recently launched Soles of Hope advocacy. In partnership with YesPinoy Foundation and with the support of DSWD, the Soles of Hope program aims to raise funds to help empower impoverished children by honing their talents and special skills in order to achieve their dreams.
The Soles of Hope program works toward the betterment of out-of-school kids in four specific areas across the country by rehabilitating them to becoming contributors to society. One project, for instance, aims to help the musically inclined Sama Dilaut children who have traveled all the way from Mindanao in the hopes of finding better lives in Manila. These high-spirited kids play around the Manila Bay area using instruments made out of trash. With the tie-up, YesPinoy and Sueño can fund their education under a renowned music professor. Other projects include children from Rizal, Cebu and Davao.
Supporting the advocacy is Sueño de Espadrilles beautiful and hip endorser, Rhian Ramos. “I am so happy and excited to be part of this wonderful partnership between Sueño de Espadrilles and YesPinoy Foundation. The Soles of Hope advocacy offers children the oportunity to achieve their dreams one step at a time. And I look forward to walking beside them every step of the way,” says Rhian.
For every pair of Sueño de Espadrilles bought, P100 will go to the Soles of Hope program. Take part in the step-by-step empowerment of our Filipino children.
