‘Bottomline’ Shares the Agony of a Mother of a ‘Desaparecido’

"The Bottomline with Boy Abunda" presents this Saturday a Mother’s Day special featuring 'Desaparecidos' chairperson Edith Burgos.

In celebration of Mothers’s Day, “The Bottomline with Boy Abunda” pays tribute to all moms this Saturday (May 12) as it features the greatness of a mother’s love through the inspiring story of Edith Burgos, the current chairperson of Desaparecidos who has been longing for his lost son for the past five years.

Edith’s son, Jonas was abducted by unknown men in 2007 and as the search for her son continues, Editha now leads an organization for the families and loved ones of forced disappearances victims in the Philippines called ‘Desaparecidos.’

Discover how unconditional and strong a mother’s love can be for Edith to withstand the pain of her son’s disappearance. What are the experiences that she went through in search for her son?
