FOR ME, ANG GAWAD URIAN ANG PINAKA-CREDIBLE NA AWARD GIVING BODY DAHIL MGA FILM CRITICS SILA AT HINDI MGA MEMBER NG PRESS NA NASUSUHULAN… OO MERON MGA MAINSTREAM FILM NA MAY QUALITY PERO ANG TINITINGNAN DITO AY ANG LALIM AT MASINING NA PAGLALAHAD NG PELIKULA NA HINDI MINSAN NAKIKITA O NAPAPANOOD SA MAINSTREAM. MAS NAKAFOCUS SIGURO ANG MGA MANUNURI SA MAS MAKATOTOHANANG IMAHE NG PELIKULA KAYSA SA MGA MAINSTREAM FILM NA PAMBENTA LANG…

Mizmooow ! Nakakaloka ang Gawad URIAN! They always SNUBBED Mainstream. Same thing happened noong 2011. They Ignored LORNA T.’s Generous but Knock-out Performance in SA IYO LAMANG including Jenny Lyn Mercado’s Rosario. However, pag may Movie sina NORA AUNOR at VILMA SANTOS … malamang PANALO kaagad Sila ! I really find URIAN the Most CREDIBLE Award Giving Body sa Pilipinas … yun nga lang may FAVORITISM ! 😀

  5. Very very very deep ang Urian! Hindi maarok ang kanilang panlasa! I appreciate indie films kahit boring ang karamihan pero agree ako na may mga mainstream pa rin naman ang pwede ma-consider na quality ang pagkakagawa and that credit goes to most Star Cinema flicks shown last year like In the Name of Love and No Other Woman.

  6. sa pangit ng portrayal ni ANGEL LOCSIN sa ITNOL, another 2 award giving bodies recognized her acting prowess. hehehe.
    kakainngit no?

  7. littlebug // April 27, 2012 at 10:00 am //

maja was great in her performance, as well as Angel Locsin. i think urian has something againts BIG BUDGETED MOVIE ( except ata ang asiong, nyahahahaha)

  8. Indie Films are not my type to watch. But im disgusted that Angel Locsin was snubbed by this group while Maja Salvador was nominated. Anyway, this kind of award, i wont waste my time to watch also.

  10. if bastos yung “paghubad” nya, me maselang parte ng katwan ba nya na nakita mo? si MR nga kahit walang movie, pero maraming instance na ngpapakita ng maselang katwan.

  11. Zapcruz10 // April 27, 2012 at 9:08 am //

boring indie films dapat may sariling award gvng ang indie saq mainstream hndi yung halo! mali mali ang organizers!

  12. angelicious // April 27, 2012 at 8:02 am //

aga isnt also nominated how can u compare that to angel…sabihin mo inggit ka lang bcoz angel made it with her effort!!!!

  13. Handsome_bi_discreet2011 // April 27, 2012 at 7:56 am //

  15. Smartv_51 // April 27, 2012 at 1:55 am //

  17. i dont know, what they are trying to imply that mainstream films are no quality na sa totoo lang ang daming maganda like in the name of love. Crab mentality!

  18. why critics lang ba ang may karapatan? All of us are critics, i wonder why they could not appreciate maintream films like in the name of love, it was the woman cedes i saw there not angel locsin. it was my first time to really salute young actress who can portray well not just a pretty face to say. It is even qualified to present the film in the oscars. Mark my words if given the chance we could win.

  20. SA TOTOO LANG OVER RATED ANG MGA INDIE FILMS…WALA NAMANG QUALITY!

  21. SA TOTOO LANG OVER RATED ANG MGA INDIE FILMS…WALA NAMANG QUALITY!

  22. SA TOTOO LANG OVER RATED ANG MGA INDIE FILMS…WALA NAMANG QUALITY!

  23. WALANG KWENTA ANG AWARD GIVING BODY NATO?! PURO INDIE FILMS EXCEPT “ASIONG”…

  24. jomontemayor // April 26, 2012 at 9:30 pm //

This is the only credible and reputable award-giving body in the Philippines.

  25. Most credible nga ang Urian kasi critics ang bumoboto

  26. Anneyevent // April 26, 2012 at 7:40 pm //

agree with u jessica… much better if hiwalay ang dalawa… para naging useless na rin yong award na yan….

  27. Jessicamalanio // April 26, 2012 at 6:16 pm //
