Desperate Housewives star--Eva Longoria--is set to host the upcoming dating show on NBC, "Ready for Love."

She is perhaps best known for her role as Gabby in the Emmy-award winning comedy series “Desperate Housewives” which is coming to a close on May 13, 2012. But right after the show airs its series finale, Eva Longoria will put her acting skills to rest for a while as she will wear a different hat in her showbiz career – this time as producer of a dating show called “Ready for Love.”

“Ready for Love” is a reality television matchmaking competition show set for the 2012–13 United States network television season on NBC. It is being produced by Eva Longoria (UnbeliEVAble Entertainment), together with Renegade 83 and Universal Television. The show will be hosted by Giuliana and Bill Rancic.
