Dolphy, like other celebrities, has also been a victim of hoax message via SMS and social networking sites saying that he's already dead.

To disprove the rumor, the King of Comedy guested on “Paparazzi Showbiz Exposed” on Saturday telling everyone that he’s still alive.

“Ito po si Dolphy at hindi po ako double,” he said during the interview.

“Gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa inyo. Gustong-gusto ko kayong makapiling pero nagpapalakas pa ako ngayon. Huwag kayong mag-alala, magkikita-kita pa tayo. Mwah!” he added.

Dolphy is now 83 years old and his recent hospitalization sparked various rumors about his health and condition.

His companion Zsa Zsa Padilla admitted the Comedy King’s recent hospitalization but denied nasty speculations that Dolphy is in deathbed.

The singer also added that what has happened to Dolphy just brought her family closer to each other.
