Closed-Down Illegal Spas, Caught Operating by ‘XXX’

The health spas that were closed down in November 2011 after their massage therapists were caught having sex with their clients on-cam by ABS-CBN’s award-winning investigative program “XXX” are back in operation and still engaging in the illegal sex trade.

Broadcast journalist Pinky Webb, who did the expose late last year, revisits the spas and investigates how these health spas were able to operate despite the closure order of the Quezon City government. Has the local government been remiss in its duty in implementing the closure?

As Pinky probes the illegal sex trade in some QC health spas, anchor Anthony Taberna investigates a different kind of sex trade in Manila.

Anthony got word about how a foreign national targets mostly Chinese clients for sex by publishing an ad in a Chinese newspaper. To get to the bottom of the issue, a Chinese police asset went undercover to expose the sex trade.

Meanwhile, Julius Babao investigates the complaint of residents in Guiguinto, Bulacan about a bunker oil plant that that burns rubber tires everyday. The process, which was caught on video and sent to “XXX,” causes health hazards to residents in the area.

Find out how these problems will be solved in “XXX” this Monday (Mar 26) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN. Watch it earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable ch 26) the same day at 9:15 PM.
