Selena Gomez is Dracula’s Daughter in ‘Hotel Transylvannia’

Selena Gomez will play the role of Dracula's (Adam Sandler) teenage daughter in the upcoming movie "Hotel Transylvannia."

Selena Gomez and Adam Sandler lend their voice, play daughter and father, for the CGI animated feature “Hotel Transylvania.”

Here’s the plot of “Hotel Transylvania” (from Sony):

Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler), owner of Hotel Transylvania, a five-star resort for the world’s monsters, invites some of the most famous monsters to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. Unexpectedly visited by Jonathan (voiced by Andy Samberg), an ordinary young traveler, Dracula must protect Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez) from falling in love with him before it’s too late.

According to reports, Miley Cyrus was supposed to play the role of Mavis, Dracula’s daughter, but the young superstar declined the offer and rumor has it that she did so to “figure out which direction she wants to take her career in.”

Hotel Transylvania, which is scheduled to open on September 28 of this year, also features the voices of Andy Samberg, Cee Lo Green, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, David Spade and Kevin James.
