Marjorie Kwan, a Filipino-Chinese registered nurse, was on her way home to Paciano Bangoy in Davao around 11:30 a.m. last Saturday when she was shot dead by two gunmen riding a motorcycle.

According to some witnesses, Kwan refused to surrender her bag to the gunmen, prompting one of the suspects to shoot her. The victim sustained gunshot wounds in her hand, chest, back and head.

The family and friends of the 23-year-old victim call for justice and created a Facebook page to gather support from the public.

Meanwhile, the local police department said on Sunday that they already have the identity of the suspects to be revealed in due time.
