‘Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition’ Holds Wildcard Rounds

One kiddie cook gets second chance to join competition.

The eliminated kiddie cooks in the top-rating “Junior Master Chef Pinoy Edition” are making a comeback to continue their quest to become the first ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef.

Starting tomorrow (Jan 21), Athena, Bea, Bianca, Emman, Gino, Iain, Judel, Louise, Nadine, and Tricia will battle each other for the next few weeks in a series of cook-offs, where only one of them will be given the chance to once again penetrate the culinary competition.

For the first wildcard round, the kids will be have to invent their own dish, made from ingredients such as kiat-kiat, eggplant, dalagang bukid, chili leaves, sweet potato, lomi noodles, and blue chocolate.

This time, the top 7 kiddie cooks Acee, Caitlin, Jobim, Kyle, Mika, Miko, and Philip will judge the wildcard contenders’ dishes, together with Chef Ferns, Chef Lau, Chef Jayps, and host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo.

The kiddie cooks of the reality show continue to impress viewers with their creations as data from Kantar Media revealed that it is one of the most watched programs on weekends. Last Saturday (Jan 14), “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition” obtained an average TV rating of 23.1%, trampling rival GMA-7’s “Manny Many Prizes” which only got 10.1 %.
