ABS-CBN’s primetime newscast Bandila took a sneak peek of some action scenes at Leveriza corner Quirino Avenue in Manila where the film’s star Rachel Weisz was spotted in a police chase scene.

Bandila also reported that 400 residents were hired to be an “extra” in the shooting. One resident named Ferdinand Chavez happily told correspondent Gretchen Malalad that he was hired as an extra and paid P500 and his task is to ride a motorcycle in a quick scene.

After the scheduled 10 days shooting in Malate, Manila, the camera will roll next in Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Marikina City Market and Ayala Avenue.

It was also reported that Filipino actors Lou Veloso, Madeleine Nicholas and John Arcilla were hired to appear in the Bourne film.

Furthermore, an Inquirer.net report written by Tetch Torres says Iza Calzado, Jericho Rosales and Sid Lucero are also part of the film. The said actors cannot disclose their participation in “The Bourne Legacy” because of a confidentiality agreement.
