‘Bourne Legacy’ Hollywood Flick to be Filmed in Manila and Palawan

The Bourne Legacy, the latest installment to the "Bourne" Hollywood movie franchise, is about to be filmed in the Philippines.

No less than MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino confirmed reports that some of the scenes from the Hollywood action flick will be filmed in Metro Manila for a month. Tolentino revealed the following locations where the camera will roll:

  • Intramuros
  • Navotas Fishport
  • Marikina City Market
  • San Andres Market
  • Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard
  • Ayala Avenue
  • Nagtahan
  • Pasay Taft
  • Jones Bridge

Eventually, the finale of the movie will be shot in El Nido, Palawan.

“The Bourne Legacy” stars Jeremy Renner (Thor, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, The Avengers), Edward Norton (Primal Fear), and Rachel Weisz (The Mummy), under the direction of Michael Clayton based from the best-selling novel by Tony Gilroy.

The previous “Bourne” movies starred Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum). The Oscar-winning actor will no longer appear in the fourth installment of the franchise.
