Kim Chiu, Still Scared to Fall in Love Again?

Despite all the efforts of her “My Binondo Girl” leading man, Kim Chiu is still scared to fall in love again?

“My Binondo Girl” stars Kim Chiu and Xian Lim recently clarified issues on their on- and off-screen romance during their guesting on Kris Aquino’s morning talk show, “Kris TV.”

In the said episode, Xian bravely admitted his admiration for his leading lady. He shared, “Kim knows how I feel for her because I’m very open to her. Even the song which I wrote expresses my real feelings for her as it tells how special she is to me.”

Xian further imparted his intentions towards Kim as he revealed what type of lover he is. “Cancerians tend to be very loving and loyal. We are not the type who would cheat to the ones we love. That’s what I want to assure Kim: that I’ll always be here for her and that she can depend on me,” said Xian, who is currently the coverboy of Chalk magazines’ December 2011–January 2012 issue.

After Xian’s heartfelt message, host Kris later on asked Kim about his leading man’s chances and if she was still scared to fall in love again. Kim answered, “I’m not really scared but I’d rather enjoy what I have right now. Having many people care about me makes me feel good and it’s a new thing that I want to cherish.”

The Kapamilya primetime princess further explained, “I admit I still have trust issues but I’m ready to fall in love again if someone who can take care of me and love me comes along the way.”

Just like their brewing off-screen romance, moving on and loving again are the hot topics this week in the top-rating Primetime Bida drama series, “My Binondo Girl.” Will Andy (Xian) manage to finally move on? Or will his business project with Jade (Kim) bring their hearts together again?

Witness the twist and turns of Jade’s life and heart in “My Binondo Girl,” weeknights, after “Budoy” on ABS-CBN. For more updates, log on to, follow @my_binondogirl on Twitter and like
