Super 12 Kiddie Cooks Delight Entertainment Press

The Super 12 kiddie cooks of the “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition” were introduced to the public last Wednesday (Nov 16) via a “Meet and Eat” event where they also prepared dishes for the entertainment press.

Acee, Bianca, Caitlin, Emman, Iain, Jobim, Kyle, Mika, Miko, Patrick, Philip, at Tricia worked expertly around the Treston International College kitchen while preparing appetizers and desserts such as prawn bruschetta, fried shrimp and squid triangles, floating island with vanilla sauce, and poached pear and cream cheese cups.

The kiddie cooks were also thrilled to mingle and answer questions from the press in a press conference with host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and the three chef-judges Chef Ferns, Chef Lau, and Chef Jayps.

Judging the kids’ creations will even get more difficult for Judy Ann, who said that the kids have acquired skills which they will apply in the upcoming cook-offs.

“The challenges will get tougher and the competition stiffer. They have become so skillful with all the techniques they learned in the program,” she said.
The Super 12’s cooking showdown kicks off this Saturday (Nov 19) as they conceive wow-worthy recipes made with shellfish in another Invention Test.

This Sunday (Nov 20), meanwhile, the 12 kiddie cooks will be divided into two competing groups and prepare a full meal consisting of an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert for Treston International College students and employees, who will serve as their judges.

Watch “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition” this Saturday (Nov 19) after “Wansapanataym” and this Sunday (Nov 20) after “Goin’ Bulilit” on ABS-CBN.
