Miss Earth 2011 – 91 Delegates Compete for the Title
The show will be aired in more than 20 countries in the Asia Pacific via Star World at 8:00 p.m. while ABS-CBN and telecast on Studio 23 will broadcast on Sunday, December 4 at 10:30 p.m. There will also be a delayed telecast of the show on The Filipino Channel and on the television stations of other participating countries.
The pageant was supposed to be held at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand, however Carousel Productions decided to move the pageant back to the Philippines due to the massive flooding in Thailand.
Miss Earth 2010, Nicole Faria of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. The theme of this year’s Miss Earth edition will be “The Earth is Crying. Let the Earth Smile Again!”
