Star Records spreads the yuletide cheers to Filipino families around the world via a special Christmas album aptly titled “Da Best Ang Pasko ng Pilipino.”

Performed by 11-year-old Fil-Canadian YouTube sensation Maria Aragon, together with the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus, the album’s carrier single and also the album title, “Da Best Ang Pasko ng Pilipino” is also the theme song of ABS-CBN’s newly launched Christmas Station ID. It was written by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management head Robert Labayen, while the music was composed and produced by Jimmy Antiporda.

“Da Best Ang Pasko ng Pilipino” 14-track album features some of the brightest stars among Star Records’ roster of artists, such as Gary Valenciano, Jamie Rivera, Erik Santos, Toni Gonzaga, Aiza Seguerra, Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto, Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy, Bugoy Drilon, among others.

Produced by Rox Santos, Star Records’ latest Christmas offering is a mix of originals and all-time favorites. New tracks include Maria’s “Da Best Ang Pasko ng Pilipino;” Angeline Quinto’s ‘Ngayong Pasko;’ and Erik Santos’ ‘Sapagkat Diyos Ay Pag-ibig,’ which is the themesong of the upcoming Primetime Bida teleserye titled “Ikaw ay Pag-ibig.”

Meanwhile, also included in the album are heartwarming rendition of Yuletide classics ‘Give Love on Christmas Day’ performed by Bugoy Drilon and Liezel Garcia; ‘It’s Christmas All Over the World’ by Marcelito Pomoy; ‘Sana Ngayong Pasko’ by Jovit Baldivino; ‘Pasko na Sinta Ko’ by Bugoy; ‘Nakaraang Pasko’ by Carol Banawa; and ‘Let There Be Peace’ by Jamie Rivera.

Completing the tracklist are Kapamilya Christmas theme songs ‘Ngayong Pasko Magniningning ang Pilipino’ by Toni Gonzaga and Gary Valenciano; ‘Pagsapit ng Pasko’ by Dingdong Avanzado; ‘Ganyan ang Pasko’ by Toni; and the all-time favorite ‘Star ng Pasko’ by Yeng, Aiza Seguerra, Carol, and Juris.
