‘Ka Oryang’ Wins Best Picture at the Cinema One Originals 2011 Awards Night

"Ka Oryang" bested 9 other finalists for the top plum and P200,000 cash prize in this year's Cinema One Originals Independent Film Festival.

“Ka Oryang” was declared Best Picture during the Cinema One Originals 2011 Awards Night on Sunday, November 13, at the RCBC Theater in RCBC Plaza Building, Makati.

“Ka Oryang” starring Alessandra de Rossi and Joem Bascom is a glimpse of female political detainees who struggled during the Martial Law by Sari Dalena, a short film director and documentarian whose memorable work is the feature Rigodon in 2005.
