Genelyn Magsaysay, the mother of slained actor Ramgen Revilla as well as to two suspects RJ and Ramona, is now being tagged by the police as another possible suspect in the Ram Revilla the murder case.

This is after the police started to probe Genelyn Magsaysay‘s financial problems including credit card debts amounting to more than P2 million.

Part of the findings was Genelyn Magsaysay‘s intriguing Facebook notes last October 21, 9:18 p.m. as aired on TV Patrol:

“I need to work ASAP so i can have my own, i don’t like to hear them saying im a parasite.before i met him im working already,now they are telling me im a parasite when the allowance that you are giving is not enough for monthly consumption.”

Last week, Ramona and her brother Ramon Joseph “RJ” Bautista have been tagged by police as the masterminds behind the murder of their elder brother Ramgen “Ram” Revilla. The motive, according to investigators, are financial matters. The two siblings supposedly resented Ramgen for mishandling their monthly allowances from their father, former Senator Ramon Revilla, which according to reports amount to about P1 million. In this line, the investigators are now probing the financial problems of their mother, Genelyn, as a possible motive that could tag her as another suspect for the crime.

Genelyn, on the other hand, appealed to the public not to prejudge them. She said she and her family are afraid of their security that’s why they’ve been forced to move around lately.

“We need quiet and peace but because people keep insisting that two members of our family are guilty – Ramona and Joseph – we want to achieve peace and justice for our family,” she said.

Genelyn also issued a statement last Sunday, November 6, expressing her extreme disappointment over the police investigation process. She also answered why her daughter Ramona suddenly left the country after retracting her “abduction” statement:

“Napakasakit po ang nangyari sa akin na namatayan po ako ng panganay na anak sa karumaldumal na paraan. Pagkatapos, pinararatangan ngayon ang aking ibang anak bilang mastermind sa karumaldumal na pagpatay.

“Hinihiling ko lang po sana, ‘wag kayong makialam sa aking pamilya. Wala kayong karapatang magsalita for or in behalf of my children, because they are my children not yours. Kung gusto ninyong magsalita, pag-usapan ninyo ang sarili ninyong mga anak hindi ang aking mga anak.”
