The winner of the online poll will become Miss Popular and automatically secure a semi-final slot in Miss International 2011.

Just like in the Miss Universe pageant (where Portugal secured a slot in the Top 16 for topping the pageant’s poll), Miss International 2011 is also incorporating a global fan vote that will automatically advance one contestant to the semifinals. The winner of the online poll will be called “Miss Popular.”
