With all his personal and professional success, the King of Talk wished for nothing in his birthday but best health for her mother, ‘Nanay Lesing.’ He said, “God has given me much already, I may not have everything but I have enough. All I pray for is best health for my ‘nanay.’
Despite being known as one of the most influential TV personalities in the industry, Boy shared that he wants to be remembered by the public not as the best TV host but as the best son. “I want to be remembered as a good son who gave his all for his mother.”
Like his personal life, Boy is just as happy with his weekly program “The BottomlineWith Boy Abunda.” According to him, “What makes ‘The Bottomline’ special to me is the thrill I experience everytime I’m on the set. There is this air of freedom that permeates especially when I ask questions and I get answers from my guests.”
Don’t miss the exciting second part of the “B-Day” special in the “The Bottomline with Boy Abunda” as Boy celebrates his birthday with a string of special guests including Karen Davila, Rajo Laurel, Marlene Aguilar, Angel Aquino, brothers Phil and James Younghusband; and MTRCB Chairman Grace Poe Llamanzares, among others this Saturday night, 11:30pm, after “Banana Split” on ABS-CBN.
