Dianne Necio is off to China to compete in the 51st Miss International pageant.

A send-off party was held yesterday for Dianne Necio, the reigning Bb. Pilipinas-International. Dianne is going to Chengdu, China to compete against more than 80 contestants for the 51st Miss International Pageant. Dianne is aiming for the 5th Miss International crown for the Philippines come finals night on November 6, 2011.

In attendance were Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup and her other batchmates like Isabella Manjon, Jamine Tugonon and MJ Lastimosa. Former Bb. Pilipinas winners Venus Raj and Patricia Fernandez were also present.

The Philippines is the most successful Asian country in the Miss International pageant having produced 4 winners in the last 4 decades. Venezuela, on the other hand, is the overall champ in the said pageant for having 5 winners so far.
