Atasha Muhlach, the daughter of veteran actor Aga Muhlach and host/beauty queen Charlene Gonzales will soon take the showbiz splash.

But unlike her parents who are seen on television every Sunday (Charlene on ABS-CBN’s “The Buzz” and Aga on TV5’s “Pinoy Explorer”), the 9-year-old Atasha will take a different route–musical theater!

Atasha will play the role of Brigitta von Trapp in the local production of “The Sound of Music” which will run from October 15 to December 11 at the Resorts World Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.

Joining Atasha in the cast are veteran theater actors Joanna Ampil, Cris Villonco and Audie Gemora.
