As the winner of the crown, Gwen received Php 1,000,000.00 cash, a condominium unit from the SM Development Corporation (SMDC) and another Php 50,000.00 cash for the Best in Swimsuit award. She was also hailed Miss Healthy Body and Miss Smart Extraordinary.

He sang the Miss World Philippines theme song composed by Louie Ocampo and written by renowned theater and concert director, Freddie Santos.

Many viewers also praised Aljur Abrenica’s special participation in the candidates’ swimsuit presentation. He sang “Magkaugnay” in the music video shot in the Puerto Princesa Underground River in Palawan.

The pageant’s panel of judges consisted of: GMA Network Senior Vice President for Entertainment, Wilma Galvante; People’s Champ and Saranggani Rep. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao; award-winning actress Iza Calzado; Calata Corporation Chairman and CEO, Joseph Calata; Etihad Airways Regional Vice President, Cramer Ball; Superbrands Chairman, Karl Mclean; Belo Medical Group CEO, Vicki Belo; hairstyle and makeup icon, Fanny Serrano; and wife of Supreme Court Justice Renato Corona, Ma. More than a beauty pageant, Miss World Philippines also presented Filipino artistry in the Evening Gown Competition. The candidates graciously paraded the stage showcasing creations of an all-Filipino lineup of fashion designers. Of the 25 evening gowns, Delby Bragais’ creation, which was worn by Gwen, received the Best Fashion Design award.
