Shalani Soledad accidentally met her ex-boyfriend, President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino at the Dumaguete airport, one year after their break-up.

The President was in Dumaguete for the inauguration of a local market while Soledad attended a local festival.

The two were on their way back to Manila when they bumped into each other. According to the eyewitness, Soledad was about to board her plane when she saw the President so she decided to wait for him.

Aquino then approached Soledad, shook her hand and asked, “Kumusta?” Soledad replied, “Mabuti.”

The President then said, “Mauna na ako,” and boarded the plane afterweards.

Aquino and Soledad had a two-year romantic relationship before their highly publicized break-up last year.
