PAGASA Update: Tropical Storm ‘Mina’ Gains Strength

Tropical Depression Mina has sustained its strength and is moving slowly towards the North, according to the latest weather bulletin of Philippine Atmospherica Geophysical and Astronomical Administration or PAGASA.

Forecaster Elvie Enriquez said Tropical storm “Mina” (Nanmadol) lengthens its stay in Philippine territory because its interacting with a tropical cyclone just outside the country.

Bagyong Mina is also expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon and will bring scattered to widespread rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas for today until tomorrow, Thursday.
