It all started with some teasing from his friends, but Alden Richards‘ dream date became a reality last August 4 when his crush Sam Pinto joined him on a cruise.

According to a report by PEP, Sam Pinto was surprised when Alden Richards brought her to the Prestige Cruises in Manila Bay. She thought they were just having a simple dinner and she has no idea that the date will become extraordinary.

“Actually, sabi ko sa kanya [Alden], ‘Surprise me,’ and na-surprise nga ako,” the sexy Kapuso star said. “Kasi ine-expect ko mga dinner-dinner lang talaga na ordinary, e, ito extraordinary. I’m happy naman. Very happy.”

Alden wanted the date to be very special and romantic so he asked for help from his manager.

“Tinulungan ako ng manager ko to tap Sweet Deals website na nag-organize ng dinner cruise na ‘to for us,” the Tween Hearts star said. “It’s actually more of [spending] quality time, more of getting to know each other, kasi we don’t know much about each other pa naman, e,” he added.
