The Department of Education (DepEd) has suspended classes in all levels (pre-school, elementary and high school) in all public and private schools in the National Capital Region (NCR) beginning 12 noon today, August 3 (Wednesday).

The suspension of classes was based upon recommendation from PAGASA as the weather forecast for today will be rainy specially in the afternoon. The announcement was made by Education Undersecretary Dino de Vera this morning.

Aside from NCR, primary and secondary classes in Taal Batangas and San Carlos City Pangasinan were also cancelled.
