Jennifer Lopez, 41, and Marc Anthony, 42, split up on Friday after 7 years of marriage.

In a statement that the couple issued to several publications, they confirmed the reports that they are no longer together.

“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters,” they said. “It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

JLo and Marc got married in 2004 and have three-year-old twins Max and Emme together. Professionally, the couple is producing the upcoming Latin American competition series Q’Viva (The Chosen).
