‘Transformers 3’ Hits P210.33-M in PHL in Just 5 Days

"Transformers: Dark of Moon" invaded Philippine box-office last weekend by raking in a record-breaking P210.33 million on its first 5 days.

Former no. 1 movie, Kung Fu Panda 2, has grossed P198.24 million in 6 weeks but it only took Transformers: Dark of the Moon 5 days just to break that record!

Another debuting film last week was the romantic comedy “Monte Carlo.” The Selena Gomez movie placed 2nd by earning P6.55 million. “Green Lantern” took the 3rd position.

Meanwhile, local movie “Forever and a Day,” has managed to earn P44 million in 3 weeks despite the presence of Hollywood Summer Movies. It settled for no. 4 last week.
