Ford on LaBeouf: ‘Shia LaBeouf is an Expletive Idiot!’

Academy Award winning actor Harrison Ford has called Transformers star Shia LaBeouf an idiot.

Ford, 68, made the statement after LaBeouf reportedly bashed the last Indiana Jones movie where both of them starred.

Ford and LaBeouf shared topbilling in the 2008 franchise of the blockbuster film Indiana Jones titled “Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull” which grossed nearly $800 million worldwide.

But despite its blockbuster turnout, the 25-year-old Transformers star admitted he was not happy with the movie saying he let the devotees of the Indiana Jones franchise down.

“I feel like I dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished… You can blame it on the writer and you can blame it on (director) Steven (Spielberg). But the actor’s job is to make it come alive and make it work, and I couldn’t do it…” LaBeouf said.

“We (Ford and LaBeouf) had major discussions. He wasn’t happy with it either,” he added.

Ford told Details magazine recently that Shia LaBeouf is an idiot for making such remarks about their Indiana Jones movie.

“I think he was an expletive idiot. As an actor, I think it’s my obligation to support the film without making a complete a** of myself. Shia is ambitious, attentive, and talented – and he’s learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult.”

Shia Labeouf currently stars in Michael Bay‘s “Transformers: Dark of Moon.” Harrison Ford, on the other hand, stars in the upcoming film “Cowboys versus Aliens.”
