And in the case of Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story,” a fourth installment is most likely to happen, this according to Tom Hanks. The Academy Award winning actor lent his voice for the character of Woody, one of the lead characters in the animated franchise.
BBC News asked Hanks, 54, if his new granddaughter will be able to see a new installment of “Toy Story.” He made a revelation:
“I think there will be, yeah. Yeah, I think they’re working on it now,” he said.
However, there’s no confirmation yet from Disney and Pixar, the production company responsible for the Toy Story films. But since the last installment now holds the record for being the top-grossing Rated G movie worldwide for all time, that’s more than enough reason for the firm to make a part 4. Toy Story 3 has grossed a whopping $1.06 billion at the worldwide box-office in 2010 making it the no. 5 highest-grossing movie of all time.
