‘Get It Straight with Daniel Razon’ Celebrates 1st Anniversary

Ang Programang Bawal ang Pikon is celebrating its 1st year of broadcast this June.

Since its inception, the Get It Straight with Daniel Razon focuses on and achieves its goal in forging a no-holds barred interview with newsmakers in entertainment and politics.

At the on set of the interview, the guests are taken aback by the manner Razon delivers the first question but they soon find themselves engaged in an in-depth conversation with the host in an open discussion of issues and controversies that are surrounding them.
These guests find themselves pleasantly surprised by how Razon elicit responses from them and how they are given the chance to explain and defend their answers. From their own words, they say that only Daniel Razon can conduct such way of interviewing on Philippine television.
Some prominent names in politics have even graciously accepted the program’s invitation for a repeat appearance and have become comfortable in the interview no matter how intriguing the questions may be that will put them in the hot seat.

The show does not only bring out and open controversial issues for discussion. It also has become a venue where brilliant ideas that contribute to nation building arise.

Among them was the time when Department of Education Secretary Armin Luistro appeared in the program. In the middle of their discussion the Secretary mentioned his vision for the department and this was where Razon introduced his idea for another public service project that aims to help the youth. The two soon found themselves planning for the project, and that gave birth to the Dunong Gulong project of the Education Department.

Get It Straight with Daniel Razon has created its niche in Philippine television programming, earning the respect of icons in the entertainment industry, as well as, in politics, for being dedicated in delivering truth, factual and informative public affairs program.

The program looks forward to a more productive and enlightening year where controversial issues will be cleared and shed light by concerned personalities and more public service projects to be initiated.
