TV5 Creates New Saturday Morning Habit with ‘Hey It’s Saberday’

TV5 introduces a new Saturday morning habit for students who are relaxing at home and enjoying the first few waking hours into their school-free weekend.

Starting this June 18 at 11:00 a.m., they will have a new Saturday pre-lunch habit with the premiere of TV5’s newest youth-oriented talk and variety show – Hey It’s Saberday!

Hey It’s Saberday gives teens chill-out Saturday mornings with a fun and exciting twist. They can have a whole new Saturday TV viewing experience as JC De Vera, Danita Paner, Arci Munoz and Alex Gonzaga give them an enjoyable run-through on interesting pop culture trends and other fascinating topics they can relate to. The show also features must-see performances from Bagets cast members AJ Muhlach, Aki Torio, Josh Padilla, Rico Dela Paz, Eula Caballero, Nadine Ilustre, Shy Carlos and Meg Imperial plus equally stunning production numbers from Ritz Azul, Martin Escudero, Rodjun Cruz, Gerald Santos, Morisette Amon, and Krissha Viaje.

Also joining the cast on special segments are Carla Humphries, Alyana and Anykka Asistio, Lucky Mercado, Edgar Allan Guzman, Dianne Medina plus the Star Factor Teens, New Born Divas and dance groups Man at Large, Limited Edition, Verve, and Create.

Up this Saturday is a back-to-school treat as Hey It’s Saberday features performances from various cheerleading squads. There are also segments that viewers will surely find amusing, such as Rainier Castillo’s “Trending,” a man-on-the-street segment where he interviews TV5 stars about their student life. Meanwhile, Josh Padilla is first to share his student life in the special segment titled “Profiles.” Young viewers are also sure to enjoy the hip fashion trends from Danita as they also learn cool instructional dance steps from Rodjun, Anykka, Christian and John in the segment “Step of the Week.”

Under the expert direction of Mr. Al Quinn, Hey It’s Saberday gives young viewers a highly entertaining and informative blend of talk and variety in every episode. Hey It’s Saberday airs every Saturday, 11am-12 noon, on TV5.
