New ABS-CBN Lupang Hinirang Music Video Released
The previous “Lupang Hinirang” music video of ABS-CBN, which was produced 5 years ago, featured some stars who are no longer with the network like Dolphy, Willie Revillame, Aga Muhlach, Susan Roses, Claudine Barretto, Geoff Eigenmann and Maricel Soriano.

This is perhaps one of the reasons why ABS-CBN has decided to update their “Lupang Hinirang” music video. Just like the old version, the new video is also star-studded but this one also features the new generation of Kapamilya stars being launched by the network in the past 5 years like Maja Salvador, Bianca Manalo, Pokwang, Empress, Andi Eigenmann, Matteo Guidicelli, Vice Ganda, Shaina Magdayao, Coco Martin, Maricar Reyes, Yeng Constantino, Derek Ramsay, Erich Gonzales, Angelica Panganiban, Luis Manzano, Enchong Dee, Zanjoe Marudo, and KC Concepcion.
Also featured in the new version are former Kapuso stars who transferred to the Kapamilya network in the last 5 years. They are Jake Cuenca, Karylle, Cristine Reyes, Billy Crawford and Angel Locsin.
And how can we forget the “veterans” or the Kapamilya stars who are featured in both the old and new versions of the music video. They are Piolo Pascual, Ai Ai delas Alas, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, John Lloyd Cruz, Toni Gonzaga, Anne Curtis, Sam Milby, Vhong Navarro, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sarah Geronimo, Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, Judy Ann Santos, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Kris Aquino, and of course, the President of ABS-CBN Corporation, Charo Santos-Concio.
Representing ABS-CBN’s News and Public Affairs, on the other hand, are Pinky Webb, Anthony Taberna, Korina Sanchez, Ces Drilon, Noli de Castro, Karen Davila, Ted Failon, Kim Atienza, Bernadette Sembrano, Julius Babao and Alex Santos.
Meanwhile, some of the stars who are missing in action in the new music video are Kristine Hermosa, Boy Abunda, Vilma Santos and Sharon Cuneta.

this latest video of lupang hinirang by abs-cbn, as many would agree with me, was not made to get an award. if any award be given then it’s a consolation.
first and foremost, the first version included kapamilya stars that are no longer connected to the network hence, the revision.
surely, if marian switches to any channel, the management of gma7 would do the same.
the essence of the video had been clearly portrayed by abs-cbn, that is, the correct way of singing of the “NATIONAL ANTHEM”.

Even if GMA won only bronze in that awards, it means it was recognized abroad. How about the first version of the national anthem of ABS-CBN? It wasn’t recognized internationally just like the pieces that ABS-CBN submitted in different award-giving bodies outside the Philippines that the Judges threw away because it was disgusting. Haaaay a typical kapamilya, ignorant and brainless especially in news.
