Kathryn has the potential of becoming a brilliant actress. She has the brightest future a head of her in showbiz. Not only in acting that she has an edge over her peers but also in terms of manners and moral values. The comment above praising Julia’s performance and belittling Kathryn’s is unfair, in the sense that they portray very different roles. For me Kathryn acted accordingly as Mara. There are a couple of episodes that Kathryn has not given her best specially her voice and delivery of lines but over all she did her best in every episode. On the other hand Julia’s performance had also flaws, she was brought up in a well off environment but sometimes she was acting like a canto girl, very aggressive in her countenance and delivery of lines(very fast), seems like no breeding at all. In later part of MC Kathryn’s role as the protagonist was just a supporting role to Gary, his wickedness was the focus in the later part. Kathryn if given the right story and director, her acting skills will really shine. Please give the best deal to kath’s role in this movie.
