If there’s one thing that came true about the Doomsday prediction of Harold Camping which supposed to happen yesterday, May 21, it’s the earthquake. A magnitude-5.5 tremor has struck Ilagan, Isabela in Northern Luzon last night at around 9:08 p.m. according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

Harold Camping’s prophecy says the rapture will begin with powerful earthquakes at 6:00 pm local time in each of the world’s regions on May 21, after which the righteous will be beamed up to heaven. The earthquake that struck Northern Luzon last night was mildly strong but it cannot be considered powerful and no missing persons were reported, thus, no rapture has occured. Also, there were no reported damages caused by the said earthquake.
